The Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Central Instrumentation Laboratory (CIL) is established for the students, research scholars and teachers of the university who are actively engaged in R&D activities in the emerging areas of Science, Technology & Engineering. The CIL is presently having sophisticated instruments like –Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Spectrometer (400MHz), Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS), UV-VIS-NIR Spectrophotometer, Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectrometer, Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC), Microwave Plasma Atomic Emission Spectrometer (MP-AES), Microwave Synthesizer, Mass Spectrometer - Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS QTOF), Ultra High Performance Liquid Chromatography (UHPLC), High Resolution Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope with EDS (FE-SEM), Raman Spectrometer and Flash Chromatography. The CIL cater to the needs of the students, research scholar and teachers of this university as well as other educational institute and industry in order to promote research activities.

  • The analytical/ spectra are provided only for research and development purposes. These cannot be used as certification in legal disputes.
  • The charges are payable in advance by online through university website http://www.gjuonline.ac.in or crossed back draft in favour of “The Registrar, GJ University of Science and Technology, Hisar” payable at Hisar.
  • Charges are not refundable at any cost.
  • Application Performa, Samples and payment should be sent preferably in the same cover. Separate samples should be sent for different analysis. Samples will not be analyzed unit payment is received.
  • Radioactive material, unstable and explosive compounds are not accepted for analysis.
  • Research fellows and students are advised to send their application/ performa and samples through their Supervisor or Head/Chairperson of Department concerned.
  • It is also desirable that analysis work done using CIL facilities should be acknowledged in the publication/ theses and a note in the regard may kindly be sent to CIL.
