The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering is committed to impart technical education in most efficient manner to its students and it was established in year 2001 duly approved by AICTE. Within a short span of its existence the department has equipped itself with most of modern facilities required for achieving excellence, well established library and computer lab supported by rich core faculty. During few years of existence only, GJUS&T has established itself as well known entity in field of Electronics and communication education. GJUS&T runs the courses as per syllabus & norms prescribed by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Haryana. GJUS&T provides very strong educational platform that not only prepares the students to become self motivated, but dedicated and focused professionals. At GJUS&T, objective is not only to impart quality education but also give an environment to the students to build their social and cultural values.

OBJECTIVE : In today's global economic environment, engineers are required to play a vital role in bringing the prosperity to the nation. In this era of global village, the convergence of Electronics and Communication Technology is opening endless and exciting possibilities in almost every sphere of human activity. The wireless mobile phone along with Bluetooth technology has brought the world of information into a small pocket. Further, VLSI technology has miniaturized the world and empowered the human beings with latest technology at the most competitive prices. The M.Tech program in Electronics & Communication will cater the growing demands of technocrats in industry not only locally but also globally. There is huge potential for PG students in getting placements and to grow themselves in the diverse field of Electronics & Communication which includes Microelectronics, VLSI design, Wireless & Optical Communication, Advanced Digital Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, etc.

There is no other field of knowledge, which has affected our life so much as Electronics, in such a short period of time. It has created so many comforts, which no body could have imagined till a few years ago. The rate of growth in the field of electronics and communication engineering has been unprecedented and likely to grow more & more. Being an evergreen field, this has great potential to create technocrats to cater not only locally but globally.


For Admission to B.Tech. programmes : Admissions to all B.Tech. programmes shall be made through on-line counseling by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES), Panchkula.
Admission to Lateral Entry to 2nd year (LEET) of B.Tech. shall be made through On-line Entrance Test to be conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES), Panchkula.
