Welcome to Department of Civil EngineeringThe Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2018. The four year B.Tech. programme in Civil Engineering assign with the design, construction, plan, management and maintenance of the Civil Engineering system and natural environment build such as bridges roads, canals, dams and buildings. The department provides resourceful faculties which inculcates strong links with the infrastructural industry and academic research institutions both within and outside the country. Except from the various government department, construction industry and eminent academicians are also invited for guest lectures on current technical development in the civil engineering field for student interaction. Department offers well equiped labs to facilitate practical knowledge, skills and using up to date techniques among students. Course offers benefits to the students of providing them professional, legal, ethical, social issues and responsibility. GJUS&T provides very strong educational platform that not only prepares the students to become self motivated, but dedicated and focused professionals. At GJUS&T, objective is not only to impart quality education but also give an environment to the students to build their social and cultural values.

OBJECTIVE : The Department of Civil Engineering GJUS&T, Hisar since its starting has been striving hard to improve the civil aspects of the society and is committed to provide students with a broad and thorough education in civil engineering fundamentals, their applications, and design that prepares them for the practice of civil engineering at the professional level with the confidence and necessary skills to meet the technical and social challenges of the future. The 4-year B.Tech program provides a broad and thorough education in civil engineering, coupled with the application of modern engineering tools and techniques. Graduates will attain the skills for entry-level civil engineering positions leading to professional engineering registration and will have a solid undergraduate foundation in general civil engineering principles, enabling continued education at advanced levels.
For Admission to B.Tech. programmes : Admissions to all B.Tech. programmes shall be made through on-line counseling by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES), Panchkula.
Admission to Lateral Entry to 2nd year (LEET) of B.Tech. shall be made through On-line
Entrance Test to be conducted by Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES), Panchkula.
